President Barack Obama takes public oath of office to begin his second term. What makes this inauguration so special is it falls on Martin Luther King Day and the president will use one of Martin Luther King's bible during his swearing in ceremony. The president's inaugural address is expected to include a broad vision for the country's future. Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, who were officially sworn into office on Sunday, will take the oath of office before hundreds of thousands of people.

Several Georgians are in Washington to be a part of the inauguration of President Barack Obama and the Georgia State University marching band is one of them.  GSU band members are among several other bands who will march and play in the inaugural parade that travels from the Capitol to the White House. The band plans to play "Living In America" by Georgia native James Brown. Georgia State was selected from 2,800 applicants from across the U.S.

Falcon fans are disappointed after the dirty birds lose to the San Francisco 49ers. Atlanta came out of the gate with a big lead, but the heavily favored 49ers were the ones to prevail in the end with a win of 28 to 24. The 49ers now advance to the Superbowl where they will take on the Baltimore Ravens. It's the first time in history that two brothers will play against each other. The coach of the 49ers and the coach of the Ravens are siblings.

Police are investigating a stabbing after last night's Falcons game. Authorities says the incident happened between two fans, one San Francisco and the other Atlanta. Police say an argument ensued after the Falcons lost to the 49ers with the Falcons fan punching the San Francisco fan and one of the men then pulled out a knife. The 35-year old victim was taken to Grady hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Veteran ABC newswoman and host of the View, Barbara Walters, fell Saturday while celebrating in Washington. The incident happened while 83-year old Walters attended an inauguration party at an ambassador's home. Walters is said to have fallen on a step inside of the residence of Britain's ambassador to the United States. The fall left a cut on her forehead. Doctors say Walters is doing fine and was only taken to the hospital as a precautionary method.

The KISS 104 weather forecast: sunny high of 56; lows of 26 tonight. Tomorrow sunny with a high of 44, low of 25.
