A federal judge's temporary restraining order is preventing the governor from replacing DeKalb County School Board members who were recommended for suspension last week by the state Board of Education. Governor Deal had scheduled an 11:00 a.m. press conference today to announce his decision. But now, any action will have to wait until a hearing, set for Friday in Judge Richard Story's courtroom. The White House is laying out a state-by-state list of the impact of the across-the-board budget cuts known as sequestration, which are set to take effect on March 1. They won't hit immediately, but will likely be part of a progression of scaled-back services. In Georgia, it would have a major impact. The state would lose $28.6 million in education funding--and money for HeadStart, clean air and water programs, law enforcement, vaccine for kids, civilian Defense Department salaries, and more.

The woman says he got angry when she, a friend, and their kids came to the park and told them to find another spot because he and his dogs were there first. When he got belligerent after she told him to put them on a leash, she recorded him with her cell phone camera--and he allegedly knocked the phone right out of her hand as he yelled at her.

The 4G LTE is coming to Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC cars and trucks.
