So your credit card "didn't go through" the first time, and the cashier swiped it again? Check your bank statements. Johns Creek Police have arrested a former grocery store employee they say was stealing customers' money by overcharging their credit cards. Nineteen-year-old Keyunna Brown worked at Kroger on Old Alabama Road. Police say she would double-swipe customers' cards, then use the extra transaction to buy things like gift cards.

Four students at Centennial High School in Roswell were taken to the hospital to be checked out after allegedly taking cough medicine. A spokeswoman with Fulton County Schools says they believe the 9th-grade boys had taken Mucinex they got from a schoolmate, trying to get high. All four were alert, but were driven to the hospital as a precaution.

Clark Atlanta University lifts the suspension on its marching band after an investigation of a hazing allegation found no evidence of hazing or wrongdoing. The accusation was made August 30. At the time, the university said there was no immediate evidence of hazing, but university officials wanted to take a thorough look at the matter.

Would you pay a seat licensing fee for Atlanta Falcons season tickets? It could be on the table as part of the funding plan for a new stadium. Fans would cough up thousands in a one-time fee for the right to purchase season tickets in a particular seat. Sixteen NFL teams have sold PSL licenses in some form, including the three teams that use the league's two newest stadiums: the Dallas Cowboys, and the New Jersey Jets and New York Giants. The AJC reports that astudy estimated that the New York Giants brought in $371 million, the New York Jets $293 million, and the Dallas Cowboys $500 million from seat licenses in stadiums that opened since 2008. The Falcons hope to move into a new retractable-roof stadium in 2017.

A judge postpones Pennsylvania's tough new voter identification requirement, ordering that it not be enforced in the presidential election. Today's ruling comes just five weeks before the election. An appeal is possible, although Judge Robert Simpson based his decision on guidelines given to him days ago by the high court justices. Election workers will still be allowed to ask voters for a valid photo ID, but people without one can vote on a regular voting machine in the polling place. The law would go into effect in full in 2013.

The Atlanta City Council unanimously approves a compromise ordinance cracking down on aggressive panhandlers. While the first version called for up to 180 days in jail on a first offense, Mayor Kasim Reed called that a budget-busting measure that didn't make sense. The new version offers a series of increasing penalties for pesky panhandlers, including at least 90 days behind bars for a third arrest.

A jury has been seated, and opening statements today in the DeKalb County trial of an accused cop killer. The defense for William Woodard contends he didn't know the men were policemen, and that they were shot in self-defense at the Victory Crossing Apartments in 2008. Prosecutors say the men were off-duty--but were in uniform.

Honda is recalling 600,000 Accords in the U. S. and Canada to fix a faulty power steering hose that can leak fluid and cause a fire. The recall covers 2003-'07 Accords with V-6 engines. Honda will fix the problem for free--but won't have the replacement parts until early next year.

The Boy Scouts of America says it's checking its years of files to make sure no pedophiles have fallen through the cracks, and will release names of suspected molesters dating back decades to police across the country this month. After the Jerry Sandusky scandal surrounding Penn State, Georgia expanded its statute of limitations so that victims of child molestation have until age 28 to report it, and until age 33 to report that they suffered childhood rape.

American Airlines is re-inspecting eight 757s because there have been two separate incidents over the last three days of passenger seats coming loose mid-flight. The FAA confirms both planes had recently undergone maintenance work that required seats to be removed and reinstalled.

President Barack Obama is still at a Nevada desert resort with advisers, getting ready for Wednesday's first debate with Republican Mitt Romney. The most pressing task for Obama is shedding his often wordy, detailed explanations in favor of tighter answers. Romney, who's already in Colorado, says the three debates will be about "something bigger" than just who appears to emerge the winner.

Red Lobster doesn't want to be just for the seafood lover in you, anymore. The restaurant is revamping its menu this month to appeal to diners who want more than seafood. After trying out new dishes and getting customer feedback over the course of several months, Red Lobster is adding new items including pastas, salads, and even pork chops to the menu. Now, a quarter of the menu will feature non-seafood items, as opposed to just 8% now. The chain is also adding more items under $15 to draw customers on a budget.

Toys R Us is offering a price-matching guarantee on all of its toys and products in stores this holiday. The offer follows the chain's free layaway and toy reservation programs, and is the latest attempt for the company to draw in holiday season customers. Toys R Us will match competitors' prices, as long as a customer has a current and valid print ad from the store, until Christmas Eve.

The KISS 104 weather forecast: partly to mostly cloudy, high of 75.
