BREAKING NEWS: The Supreme Court, by a vote of 5-4, has upheld the individual mandate portion of President Obama's Affordable Care Act. Justices handed the president a huge campaign-year victory with the decision. The decision means the historic overhaul will continue to go into effect over the next several years. The court's four liberal justices, Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor, joined Chief Justice John Roberts in the outcome.
This morning, the SupremeCourt chief justice is expected to announce the high court's decision on President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act. The most important issue of the health care overhaul is the constitutionality of requiring people to have health insurance or pay a penalty. But the problems of high medical costs, widespread waste and tens of millions of people without insurance still remain if the law is struck down.

Now may be the time to buy that new car. Kelley Blue Book says new car prices have dropped an average of $500 in the past year. Part of it has to do with the fact that this time last year, prices were elevated because of a parts shortage following the earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan. Now, discounts on Hondas and Toyotas are even better than deals coming out of Detroit.
