BREAKING NEWS: The Supreme Court, by a vote of 5-4, has upheld the individual mandate portion of President Obama's Affordable Care Act. Justices handed the president a huge campaign-year victory with the decision. The decision means the historic overhaul will continue to go into effect over the next several years. The court's four liberal justices, Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor, joined Chief Justice John Roberts in the outcome.

This morning, the Supreme
Court
chief justice is expected to announce the high court's decision on President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act. The most important issue of the health care overhaul is the constitutionality of requiring people to have health insurance or pay a penalty. But the problems of high medical costs, widespread waste and tens of millions of people without insurance still remain if the law is struck down.

The FDA approves the first new diet pill in over a decade. Belviq is designed to suppress appetite by signaling the brain that you're full so you don't overeat. It's expected to hit the market next year, and is designed to be used in combination with a better diet and exercise. Critics say the drug poses a threat to heart valves.

Fulton County Police keep looking for the suspected hit & run driver who killed a five-year-old girl on Campbellton Road Tuesday night. Her mother says it's nothing short of murder.

The feds nab nearly 70 suspects in Operation Trap Door, and say that Atlanta is a little safer this morning. ATF Special Agent in Charge Scott Sweto says they opened up a cell phone and vehicle operation business that offered to pay cash for guns on the side on Metropolitan Parkway--and people took the bait. Some 300 weapons were seized.

Ann Curry confirms she's leaving the Today Show--today! This is her last morning co-hosting after a year in the slot. NBC created a reporting position for her, and she'll also sub as a nightly news anchor and report for Dateline. Savannah Guthrie, who hosts the 9:00 hour of Today, is expected to step in as Lauer's co-host.

Now may be the time to buy that new car. Kelley Blue Book says new car prices have dropped an average of $500 in the past year. Part of it has to do with the fact that this time last year, prices were elevated because of a parts shortage following the earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan. Now, discounts on Hondas and Toyotas are even better than deals coming out of Detroit.

Google introduces a new tablet computer to compete with the Kindle Fire. The Nexus 7 will have a seven-inch screen, same size as the Kindle, but it slightly lighter and will have a front-facing camera. You can place pre-orders for the Nexus 7 now on Google, and should be available next summer for about $200. It will run Google's new operating system, Jelly Bean, like their Nexus phones.

Olympics organizers are making plans to showcase the Games in London in a way spectators have never seen before. For the first time, fans can buy wireless devices for about $15 that will provide live commentary and analysis via earphones--especially helpful when several competitions are going on at once. Elton John is among several musicians who've recorded special tracks for different parts of the Games.

The KISS 104 weather forecast: clear, sunny skies with a high around 97. Lows tonight in the upper 60s. Friday, sun and a high temperature of 101.
