By Veronica Waters

Nine medical groups want to put an end to unnecessary medical tests, which help drive up the cost of health care. The groups have put out a list of when physicians should ask themselves whether certain tests are needed, such as doing a colonoscopy less than 10 years after the previous one.

You won't hear Mary J. Blige singing about chicken any time soon. A Burger King commercial (CLICK HERE TO SEE IT) featuring Blige singing about chicken has been pulled. Some viewers and bloggers complained that it wreaked of "buffoonery." The fast food chain is blaming “music licensing” issues for the decision, not criticism of the ad.

It was less than two months ago that Southwest Airlines began flying to Atlanta. But now... some of the airline's flights to Atlanta will be grounded because of computer problems. In the wake of the airline's merger with AirTran, it seems the two companies' computers can't talk to each other. Transportation consultant George Hamlin says it'll specifically affect passengers to and from Denver, Chicago, Los Angeles and Phoenix. There's no word yet on how the airline will deal with those passengers.

Now, this is unfortunate: A Lawernceville woman claims her ex-boyfriend is trying to get back at her by posting some semi-nude pictures of her all over Gwinnett county with her full name, phone number and address attached. Men who have seen the photos are showing up at her house after seeing the flyers left in places including Red Lobster, Lowe’s, the barbershop. "I'm in hell!" the woman told a reporter. One was even mailed to Channel 2 Action News. The woman admits she sent the semi-nude photo to her then-boyfriend by email last summer. The alleged victim has asked for a restraining order against her ex.

We still don't know who bought the three winning Mega Millions tickets purchased in Illinois, Kansas and Maryland. However, we do know that Georgia kids are cashing in on the lottery frenzy. " We estimate about $25 million will be going to HOPE and Pre-K just from the Mega Millions jackpot roll," said Georgia Lottery Director Margaret DeFrancisco. Six Georgia lottery players won $250,000 prizes, and 48 won $10,000 prizes.

President Obama is expected to sign legislation today that prohibits members of Congress, the president and thousands of other federal workers from engaging in insider trading. The bill also allows the public to see more of government officials' financial dealings.

The family of a 17-year-old fatally shot at an Atlanta apartment complex is calling for the arrest of a security guard they say wrongfully killed their son, although authorities say the shooting was justified. Canard Arnold was shot in the back on December 31. A spokesman for the Atlanta Police Department says the guard "found himself in the middle of a gun battle" and declined to arrest him.

Cobb County voters will have to vote again on whether to have Sunday liquor sales. While the referendum passed easily on March 6, ex-State Representative Roger Hines said it wasn't fair that residents of Cobb County cities couldn't vote in that election for unincorporated Cobb since they also pay county taxes. So a judge has tossed out the March vote, and rescheduled a new one for July 31 for voters countywide. If the Sunday sales measure passes again, it would go into effect August 12.

A federal appeals court in Boston will hear arguments today over a law that denies federal benefits to married gay couples. The 1996 federal Defense of Marriage Act prevents the federal government from recognizing same-sex marriages, even though gay marriage is legal in Massachusetts.

The KISS 104 weather forecast: mostly sunny, 50% chance of showers by the evening, high in the low 80s.
