Four women sue their former nursing company because they say the leaders of the Marietta-based firm wouldn't send black nurses to take care of white patients. The plaintiffs contend Accord Services staffers would say things like a nurse was "too ghetto" or that black women were unprofessional. The company denies it.
GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain is offering conflicting responses to allegations of sexual harassment in the 1990s. After first denying it happened and saying he was unaware of the specifics of the accusations, he later described one incident to PBS NewsHour and on Fox News admitted that there had been "some sort of settlement."

Even one hour less on average each night can increase coronary calcium by 16%.
Happy people may live longer. British researchers found that older people who describe themselves as "happy" were 35% less likely to die after five years than those who were unhappy. Participants analyzed their feelings several times a day; they were least happy at 7:00 a.m., and happiest at 7:00 at night. It's unclear whether the feeling itself extends life, or whether something else is at work.
Ten weeks after their lavish wedding ceremony, 31-year-old Kim Kardashian and 26-year-old Kris Humphries are getting a divorce. E! paid $15 million to air the two-part, four-hour wedding special; the marriage lasted 72 days--less time than their 87-day engagement. "I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don't work out as planned," said Kardashian in a statement. Her divorce filing cites irreconcilable differences and the couple have a pre-nuptial agreement.
