  • Two men who accused New Birth's Bishop Eddie Long of sexual misconduct in a lawsuit say they continue to struggle even after reaching an undisclosed settlement.  Jamal Parris tells Channel 2 Action News that he and Spencer LeGrande, and perhaps the other accusers, plan to write a tell-all book.

"I would love to pull the trigger," Parris says.  "I would love to take pills and go to sleep and not have to worry about anything.  But I can't.  I have a kid on the way."

He says a book full of 10 years of details from each person would be full of "wows" and "oh my Gods."  LeGrande adds, "You ain't ready for the secrets."

Long has denied the allegations of the young men, who say they are all straight and that they never had intercourse with the pastor.  LeGrande and Parris share a home in Florida, paid for by their settlement.

  • Seven people have been arrested for stealing from their Henry County neighbor--and one of the suspects is a cop.  The woman had moved out of the Eagle Lake subdivision home but left some things behind for storage and a later yard sale.  Henry County Police Major Jason Bolton explains the seven went inside and carted out boxes filled with clothes and other household items.  Bolton says the suspects claimed they thought she'd been evicted and that's why they helped themselves to her things.  All seven face felony burglary charges.  Sgt. David Ferguson is now on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.

  • Police arrest the suspect accused of shooting a DeKalb Police officer during a Tuesday night traffic stop.  Michael Hughey surrendered at a Stockbridge motel around 3:00 a.m.

  • Apple CEO Steve Jobs is calling it quits. The man behind the iPhone, iPad and numerous other devices is stepping down.  Jobs has had pancreatic cancer and a liver transplant and has been on medical leave since January. The COO Tim Cook steps into the CEO role; Jobs is still chairman of the board.

  • A new AP-GfK poll shows Americans' outlook for the economy has gotten grimmer this summer. It also shows confidence in President Barack Obama's handling of the economy has slipped, even among fellow Democrats. But the poll also shows more adults blame former President George W. Bush for the nation's economic woes than Mr. Obama.

  • The Outer Banks of North Carolina have gotten the first official hurricane watch as the East Coast awaits the weekend arrival of Hurricane Irene.  A tropical storm watch has been issued for much of South Carolina's coast.  The Navy ordered its Second Fleet in Virginia to move out to sea to keep ships safe.  The Category 3 storm is expected to hit North Carolina's Outer Banks Saturday afternoon and then travel up the coast.

  • A couple of Pennsylvania newlyweds are off to a rocky start after being arrested for allegedly shoplifting food from a supermarket for their wedding reception. The Centre Daily Times reports the couple was caught on videotape leaving the store without paying for the loaded cart.

  • The Chicago Cubs beat the Atlanta Braves 3-2 on Wednesday night at Wrigley Field.  Chipper Jones and Alex Gonzalez hit solo homers for Atlanta.

  • The KISS 104 weather forecast:  sunny, highs in the low to mid-90s.
