Inspectors head back to a Clayton County apartment complex today, where a little girl fell through the floor last week. Nearly a dozen units at the Harbour Towne Village Apartments have already been condemned, in part, because they didn't have hot water. The toddler's mom made a rope bedsheet to pull up her daughter, who wasn't hurt. Residents at the Riverdale Road complex have complained of infestations, electrical problems and mold for years.
Former Fugees music video director Aswad Ayinde has learned the first of five trial dates against him: May 3. Why five? Because prosecutors in New Jersey say that's how many of his daughters he allegedly raped over the course of two decades--fathering six children by three of them. The 51-year-old even delivered the children himself, and buried two who didn't survive birth. Ayinde allegedly told his ex-wife that he and his offspring were among the chosen who would survive the world's end. Prosecutors allege the 51-year-old who won an MTV award for directing "Killing Me Softly" was trying to create a "pure" bloodline and that he beat and kicked his children to keep them silent about the abuse.

The pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church takes an HIV test during Sunday services. Reverend Raphael Warnock says he thought there would be no better way to send the message that there's a need to know your own HIV status--and that anyone can get the disease. "I still think that in many corners of our communities, there is still the assumption that this is a virus that affects certain segments of the population," says Warnock. "There are straight people who feel that this only impacts gay sisters and brothers." Warnock was able to take the test and announce the negative results before services were over. Afterward, Ebenezer provided free testing to churchgoers.
