I'm not much of an everyday blogger, but when I have something to say that is dear to my heart, I like to express my opinion...Charlie Wilson aka "Uncle Charlie" is one of my favorites. From his days with The Gap band to the present day, he has sustain the test of time. With the highs & desperate lows in his life, he has overcome! Fame can be addictive, with all the trappings just waiting to snatch you up. He's a man who conquered drug addiction, living homeless, prostate cancer. I can relate to some of these. I've had family members caught up in this spiral, but thank God, they are clean & drug-free TODAY. I've known people & I'm sure you have to, who have fallen to cancer. Charlie's message is simple; LOVE, give PRAISE & THANKS...I've known him for some time now and he is the most gracious man I've ever met. He tells you, my brothers to please visit your doctor...get your prostate checked. We all have family members who say, if I don't know what's ailing me... it won't hurt me...That's B.S. I love Charlie not just for his music, but for his MESSAGE! Take of care yourselves family...These are just my thoughts...my moments...WHAT DO YOU THINK??
