*Folks are questioning whether or not a sudden round of boos heard during last night's "Dancing with the Stars" was for former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, who sat in the front row to cheer on her daughter Bristol.
While Jennifer Grey, Derek Hough and co-host Brooke Burke were backstage wrapping up their post-dance interview following the judge's scores, a chorus of boos could be heard from the audience, causing all three to wonder aloud what was going on.
"There's booing in the ballroom, we don't know why," Burke said in a rare off-the-prompter moment.
Burke then threw it back to host Tom Bergeron, who was suddenly sitting next to Palin. The booing had subsided. And when he introduced Palin, the audience responded with polite applause.
So was the booing for Grey's scores (three "8s" to lead the pack for a second week in a row), or for Palin's impending interview by Bergeron? Or for something entirely different?
You be the judge...
Mariah takes dip and keeps on singing.
*Mariah Carey was in the middle of a concert in Singapore when she slipped and fell...then blamed her shoes. [Scroll down to watch.]
Camera phones were rolling when the singer, rumored to be pregnant, slid to the stage before 100,000 people at Sunday's Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix event.
In a YouTube clip, Mimi is seen singing her hit song "Make It Happen" when she slips in her stiletto heels.
Carey was then caught by one of her backing dancers as she told the crowd: "Hold up, I want someone to help me take these shoes off. I wasn't supposed to be wearing them!"
She then continued singing while ushering her assistant to come out on stage and help her remove the shoes.
Carey, who sang a string of her biggest hits at the event, including "Dreamlover," "My All" and "Hero," recently said that she will announce her pregnancy "when the time is right."
