*Flood Watch For Portions Of Central Georgia East Central
Georgia North Central Georgia Northeast Georgia
Northwest Georgia And West Central Georgia.
*Through This Evening
*National Weather Service Radar Indicates That Two To Four Inches
Of Rain With Locally Higher Amounts Has Fallen Across
Portions Of North And Central Georgia This Morning. Additional
Amounts Of One To Two Inches With Locally Higher Amounts Are
Possible. The Heavy Rainfall Axis Will Shift To The Southwest
Across The Metro Atlanta Area During The Mid To Late Morning.
*Flooding Of The Larger Creeks And Rivers Is Possible With
Additional Rainfall.
*Localized Flash Flooding Will Be Possible If The Heavy Rain
Repeatedly Moves Over The Same Area. Also Storm Drains
Ditches And Low Lying Areas May Become Quickly Clogged With
Debris And Cause Extensive Street Flooding.
