Yes. April Dobbs, also known in the radio world as simply, “The BabyGyrl”, is that bubbly all the time! Raised in Lithonia, April has always had a knack for performing on stage.  This former pageant queen and classical pianist attended Lithonia High School and is a proud Savannah State University Tiger!

April holds a BS in Environmental Studies & Chemistry and began her broadcasting career while attending SSU.  She got her “break” at WEAS E93.1 FM in Savannah, GA where she held things down as Producer & Local Talent of the syndicated Doug Banks Morning Show. This feisty chick has also rocked the prime-time night spot from 6-10pm in both Savannah and Shreveport, Louisiana (KMJJ). 

April’s relatable and down-to-earth disposition has also granted her opportunities to host a top rated Midday slot and serve as Music Director at E93.  Currently she’s Kiss 104’s Weekend Personality on Saturdays from 4-7pm.  When she’s not on the air, April is behind the scenes in television where she is currently a media specialist for one of countries largest sports networks.
