James, a retired educator decided to put her love for history on paper to further educate school children.The books are illustrated by an 18 year old former student. Dr. Joseph Lowery, Dorothy Height, Ralph Abernathy, Andrew Young and more will be included in the series.

Crystal McVea, Author of Waking Up In Heaven: A Story of Brokenness, Heaven and Life Again. McVea talks about her childhood filled with sexual abuse and unworthiness. As a child,she always went to church and knew about God but because of the abuse in her life, was never sure that He loved her or even existed at times. At 32, McVea went into the hospital for pancreatitis and died from an overdose. She went to heaven and came back to tell about it.
