Funeral arrangements for Old School R&B Legend Isaac Hayes were announced moments ago. Memorial services for Isaac Hayes will be next Monday in Memphis at Hope Presbyterian Church for the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. Hayes died at age 65 last Sunday of a stroke, says new reports. Hayes died inside his Memphis home.
Hayes is best known for his Grammy winning soundtrack to Shaft. Recently, a new generation enjoy Hayes as the voice of “Chef” on the Comedy Central series “South Park.”
The memorial service for Isaac Hayes is 11 a.m. Monday at Hope Presbyterian Church, 8500 Walnut Grove in Memphis.
The Hayes family asks memorials be delivered to the Stax Music Academy in Memphis, made out to Soulsville, 926 E. McLemore Avenue, Memphis, TN 38106. Please specify “In memory of Isaac Hayes.”

My mother departed this life May 2006 she loved him to and attended the one and only concert he did hear years ago. So I can see her smiling now getting ready for the concert in heaven.
