The inaugural Festival on Ponce in the summer of 2011 proved to be so popular, that the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces decided to hold a Spring and Fall edition of the event. Last year’s festival saw thousands in attendance, including a visit from former President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter.
The 2013 Spring Festival on Ponce will be held April 13-14 in the historic Olmstead Linear Park in the Druid Hills Neighborhood of Atlanta. More than 150 arts & craft vendors and local food trucks will line the gently rolling paths of the beautiful chain of parks along famed Ponce de Leon Avenue. There will also be a children’s play area and acoustic music from local artists. Admission is free.
