Four outstanding artists will be recognized at our annual Awards of Excellence presentation — three for the quality of their work and one for booth design. We are thrilled to have Sarah Schleuning, curator of decorative arts and design at the High Museum of Art, as our juror for this year’s show. Schleuning holds a master of arts degree in the history of decorative arts and design from Parsons the New School for Design and Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Before coming to the High Museum, she served as a curator at the Wolfsonian-Florida International University in Miami Beach, Florida, and the Cranbrook Art Museum in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Schleuning has curated a number of exhibitions relating to 20th-century decorative arts and design.Please join Schleuning as she recognizes some of the show’s extraordinary artists.
