The Annual August Wilson Monologue Competition features Atlanta area high school students performing monologues from the plays of August Wilson's Century Cycle. Contestants will be judged by a panel of Atlanta theatre and media professionals on the basis of preparedness, understanding of the text, emotional connection to the material and commitment to the performance.Listen to Lois Reitzes' feature on the 2009 competition that aired on WABE 90.1FM.
