This beginning workshop introduces the student to Adobe Dreamweaver CS5: the industry-leading web authoring program.
Get some hands on time with this professional software!In this 90 minute workshop we will familiarize you with the Dreamweaver software interface & discuss basic features, including a brief overview of HTML / CSS basics and their role in this latest version of Dreamweaver. The student should leave the workshop with enough knowledge to begin working on their own professional looking website. Working with Text, links ,images and background layouts are some of the basics covered.We will also discuss resources for discovering more information on open source web design alternatives.
These classes are open to everyone : undergrad, grad, faculty and staff
Workshops are usually held in the Homer Rice Center , 2nd floor of the library, near Maps and Special Formats.- behind the elevators. Updates on the class will be sent to the email you provided on your registration form. The classes are free and they are walk in. Priority is given to those who are registered and are Georgia Tech affiliated, but classes are open to the general public on first come first serve basis as space permits.
