Robot Expo!  BlackGirlsCODE is excited to host our first Atlanta workshop for 2013 on Saturday, February 16th, 2013 at the Georgia Tech Research Institute at 250 14th Street NW,  and this time it's all about ROBOTS!   Join us for a fun and exciting workshop where girls will learn all about robots and how they communicate in an engaging atmosphere combining hands-on activities with Lego WeDo/NXT kits and Robot Simulators.   They will then rotate to a second session which will be focused on interacting with more sophisticated robots and where they will learn real-world/business applications and uses for robotics.   This class intended for girls ages 7-17 and starts promptly at 10:00AM.  Both lunch and snacks will be provided. Space is limited to sign up soon to secure your spot!  Once you register for this event please complete the online student profile forms and emergency contact forms which can be found at this link on our website:  http://www.blackgirlscode.com/parents.html   Our event is still open to event sponsors.  Email us here for more information: atlantachapter@blackgirlscode.org  BlackGirlsCode.org Imagine.
