Walk to Create a World Free of Child Sexual Abuse!Saving Our Children and Families, SOCAF, Inc. with host Commissioner Lee May (District 5) and Commissioner Stan Watson (District 7) is planning the 3rd Annual Purple Warrior’s 6K Walk.  The Purple Warrior Survivor’s walk is designed to raise awareness in the community surrounding child sexual abuse and child exploitation. The entire community is invited to be apart of the 3rd Annual Purple Warrior’s 6K Walk to Benefit Child Sexual Abuse Survivors and Advocates on April 27thArabia Mountain in Lithonia, Georgia.  Registration is available via mail or e-mail. Registration deadline is April 19th.  No onsite registration will be available.  Vendor applications are available for local business and organizations.  Sponsors for the Purple Warrior 6K Walk are Wal-Mart, BJ’s, State Farm, and Kohl’s Department Store (Lithonia and Tucker).Let’s walk for the voiceless and heal one child at a time.About Saving Our Children and Families, SOCAF, Inc. SOCAF, Inc. mission is to provide awareness, prevention, intervention initiatives through educational and therapeutic programs.  Saving Our Children and Families Foundation is a non-profit 501c (3) community awareness program that helps inner-city, and underserved communities with resources to help victims of child sexual abuse. SOCAF, Inc. also offers college scholarship opportunities and encourages healthy lifestyle choices.  The SOCAF, Inc. team and its founder DeQuanda Sanders provide over 100 years of combined experience.  SOCAF, Inc offers the Stewards of Children Program child sexual abuse prevention program which is ideal for the training of staff and volunteers in youth-serving organizations; it is also appropriate for the parents of children served by these organizations.
