Candy Hilliard is president of American Family Protectors: an insurance agency providing health, life, home and auto insurance to individuals and small business owners for 14 years. Candy began working with small business owners through a national association in 1996 after owning several businesses and experiencing first- hand the frustration of wearing the hat of business owner and benefits manager. In 1998, she started her own agency with the idea of forming alliances with other professionals such as CPA’s, attorneys, and financial planners in order to offer business owners and individuals the expertise and advice needed to make important financial decisions that are often overlooked due to the focus of everyday life and running a business.
